Day 1: Learning and Applying Techniques to Improve Pronunciation, Vocabulary, Grammar, and Comprehension in IELTS Format

Teachers will introduce three techniques: 5W1H, Shadowing, and Paraphrasing. These methods support improving pronunciation, expanding vocabulary, enhancing comprehension, and refining speaking and writing skills. Students will practice these techniques under the teacher’s guidance and receive corrections and feedback if necessary. Students need to study the material from slides 3 to 6 on their own, then upload their self-study work to the homework section (HW) 5 hours before class.

    • Shadowing involves mimicking native speakers as they talk. Students listen and repeat, trying to imitate the speaker’s voice and rhythm to improve their speaking skills.

2. Learn Vocabulary with the 5W1H technique
