Lesson plan

I. Day 1 (slides 3 to 6): Learn and apply techniques to enhance pronunciation, vocabulary, comprehension, speaking, and writing.

  • The teacher will introduce three techniques to students: 5W1H, Shadowing, and Paraphrasing. These methods aid in improving pronunciation, expanding vocabulary, enhancing comprehension, and refining speaking and writing skills. Students will practice applying these techniques under the guidance of the teacher, receiving corrections and feedback as needed.
  • Students need to self-study the lesson according to the guidance provided in slides 3 to 6, and then upload their self-study 5 hours before class time in the assignment section (HW).

1. Improving Pronunciation with the Shadowing Technique:

  • The shadowing technique involves copying a native speaker as they talk. Students listen and repeat, trying to mimic the speaker’s voice and rhythm to enhance speaking skills.

2. Learn Vocabulary with the 5W1H technique
